Is OR—2 available?

Yes, OR—2 is available now for Mac. The iPad version is coming soon — the front page lists current availability.

How does OR—2 make sound?

OR—2 is a granular audio effect, so it processes audio you feed it. Insert it on an audio track, record incoming audio into one of its four 10-second buffers, and the grain engine plays back from what you captured. With an empty buffer there is nothing to granulate yet.

Can I modulate its parameters?

Yes. OR—2 has a built-in modulation engine with an LFO and sample & hold, and full MIDI support for hands-on control of every parameter.

What formats does OR—2 support?

AU, VST3, CLAP, and Standalone on Mac; AUv3 and Standalone on iPad. macOS 14 or newer, Apple Silicon.

Why is there no sound?

OR—1 is a MIDI Note-FX — a generative sequencer that outputs MIDI, not audio. It makes no sound on its own. To hear it, route its MIDI output to a synth, sampler, or drum machine track in your DAW, or in a host like AUM. Once routed, the instrument you chose plays the notes OR—1 generates.

How do I route OR—1's MIDI output to an instrument?

In your DAW, create a MIDI (or Software Instrument) track, insert OR—1 as a MIDI Effect (VST3/CLAP) or Audio Unit (AU/Logic Pro), then insert or route a software instrument on the same track or a track set to receive OR—1's MIDI output. Press play in your DAW and you'll hear notes triggered by OR—1's voices. On iPad, load OR—1's AUv3 in a host like AUM and route its MIDI output to a downstream instrument the same way.

Does OR—1 work as a Standalone app?

Yes. OR—1 on iPad and Mac ships as a Standalone app with its own transport (Play/Pause + tempo), so you can explore its Euclidean patterns and living visualizer without a host DAW.

What is OFX—1?

OFX—1 is a stereo texture and ambient reverb. One large Size knob grows the space, surrounded by tone and time controls, a continuous Algo morph from a clean hall to a broken, fragmented space, two LFOs you drag onto knobs, and three performance controls: Freeze, Temp and Random. It is built for playing ambience as an instrument, not only as a send effect.

What formats does OFX—1 support?

AU, VST3, CLAP, and Standalone on Mac, from one installer; AUv3 and Standalone on iPad. macOS 12 or newer (Apple Silicon and Intel), iPadOS 16 or newer.

Can I control it with MIDI?

Yes. MIDI reaches OFX—1 in VST3, CLAP, the Standalone app and on iPad. Its main controls come mapped to MIDI CCs out of the box, and MIDI Learn lets you assign any of them to your own controller.
